PLANNING FOR RASHTRIYA SAM VIKAS YOJNA

MAIN OBJECTIVES OF THE SCHEME:- Main objectives of the scheme are: (i) To create possibilities of self employment, (ii) To improve agricultural production, (iii) To upgrade physical and social infrastructure. With these objectives, “District Planning Committee” approved three years plan for the purpose of accelerating development of district and removing gaps among the different sections of society.

On 15th December, 2004 as per the directions of planning commission, Govt. of India, a meeting of District Planning Committee presided by Honorable District Minister (Chairman of Zila Niyojan Avem Anushrawan Semite of District) committee alongwith MP, MLA's, Chairman Zila Panchayat and District Officers took place. The approved an outlay Rs. 15.00 Corers for each year and total outlay of Rs. 45.00 Corers for three years. The committee has also approved department wise outlay as given in annexure "A".
